Gerweck interviewed Maria recently to promote the upcoming fundraiser benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee by Crossfire Entertainment on March 17th. Maria also talked about CM Punk’s big year in 2011, arriving in Ring of Honor, and how she met Mike Bennett. Maria also touched on the possibility of returning to WWE, her thoughts on the current WWE divas division, training at Ohio Valley Wrestling, entering the Diva Search competition, TNA, and tons more! Maria officially added to ROH roster
Back in December, Maria made her ROH debut along side her boyfriend Mike Bennett at Final Battle. Rumors were flying about Maria joining the roster full-time, and now it’s official! ROH has updated their roster page to include Maria, the First Lady of ROH. Here’s her new ROH bio:
Model, centerfold, wrestler….Maria has worn many different hats in her life and at “Final Battle 2011″ she added one more to her collection: “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett’s girlfriend. That night, in front of a NYC crowd that hates Bennett’s guts, she accompanied him to the ring in his TV Title bout against Jay Lethal & El Generico. Ever supportive of her man, Maria is willing to put herself in harm’s way if it means “The Prodigy” can get a leg up, and she has shown a willingness to get involved in a bout in order for Bennett to gain the advantage. Dedicated and devoted, the self-proclaimed First Lady of ROH may be the key ingredient in success for her man.

Maria to wrestle for FWE Women’s title on February 25th
Maria was scheduled to make her in ring return on February 25th at FWE against Tara (aka Victoria) but plans have changed. Now, Maria will have the chance to win FWE’s Women’s Championship in a tournament which features herself, Tara, Brooke Tessmacher, and Winter. Not only will this be Maria’s first match in over 2 years, but it’s also her 30th birthday. Now she has the chance to walk away with some gold, too. It’s sure to be a special night!
Maria joins ROH full-time, new PSA with Mike Bennett (video)
Bleacher Report reports that Maria has joined ROH full-time. Maria has been nicknamed “The First Lady of ROH” and manages her boyfriend, Mike Bennett. The two put out a new PSA this evening, check it out!
