I’m finally meeting Maria today! I’ve been a fan since the first time I saw her on the 2004 Diva Search special hosted by HHH, Edge, Orton & Jericho. I’m very excited and I want to share the experience with all of you. I’ll be posting photos and videos from the line, it’ll be like you’re right there with me! Happy Birthday Maria, I hope you have a great day! Last year ended with you becoming Diva of the Year and I hope that 2010 brings you even more success, starting with the release of Sevin Sins! But I’m not the only one who would like to wish you a Happy Birthday. For the past 2 weeks I’ve asked readers of Maria-Kanellis.org to send in their birthday wishes. Your biggest fans from Germany sent in awesome media for your birthday. Mag made the image I used in the Happy Birthday Post & Jay put together this great music video. They share a Twitter account @MariaManiacs. They also sent in a special birthday message which I added after the video. Please take a look when you get a chance.
Maria’s birthday is next week, Tuesday February 25th! I’ve already received a ton of birthday wishes, keep them coming! All birthday wishes I receive will be compiled into a post on February 25th. Please have all entries in by 10pm EST on February 24th. I cannot guarantee Maria will see any birthday wishes submitted after that time. Lets make this a day she never forgets! After the great response we got for Maria’s birthday last year, I wanted to do something similar this year. Maria will turn 28 on February 25th, thats in 2 weeks! The greatest gift we could give would be to purchase her 1st single Fantasy which will go on sale on iTunes February 23rd. I also thought it would be great for all of her fans & MiaTweets to write their own personal birthday wishes. We will collect them all and post them to the site and then pass the link on to Maria so she can read them!
I also want to try to get #HappyBdayMaria trending on Twitter on February 25th, so I need your help MiaTweets! I’ll give more details as we get closer to her actual birthday, but if we could all RT the post I put up with the hash tag #HappyBdayMaria (on February 25th) I think that’d be pretty cool! Sorry for the lack of updates this weekend, I had to wait until we were fully switched over to our new server. Welcome back to Maria-Kanellis.org! Check out the Smackdown results, photos, HD video, and tons of HQ captures. Maria has also posted some new TwitPics since I last updated.

Another new addition to the site is we now have a “Latest Photos” widget on the sidebar. This will help keep everyone up to date on the latest Maria photos if you miss a post.
Now that I’m hosting the website myself I can add more features than ever before. What would you guys like to see? I plan on giving the signature/avatar section a makeover in the near future. Also stay tuned for a new layout we’ll be putting up soon, for the main site and maybe even the gallery!
As I mentioned earlier this week, I’ll be moving the website to a new server. Everything is in place and I plan on making the move tomorrow. I will do my best to get the site up as quickly as possible, hopefully we do not experience any downtime. If we do, it’ll be a couple days at most. We’ll have full Smackdown results including our 720p HD video and HQ captures you look forward to each week upon our return. Stay tuned!
