Mickie James defeated Michelle McCool for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight at the Royal Rumble. After the match Maria and the rest of the WWE Divas came to the ring with a big cake to celebrate. Mickie slammed the cake into Michelle & Layla’s face and continued celebrating with Maria and the other divas. Check back later for WWE.com digital photos and HQ video.
WWE.com just posted exclusive photos from a 15-Diva Battle Royal that took place before SummerSlam went on the air. It’s too bad the match wasn’t on TV, but at least Maria got to compete in front of the huge live crowd. Sadly she did not win, but she looked gorgeous! Check out the photos on WWE.com

On a side note, sadly Maria did not go down to the ring with Dolph Ziggler, and wasn’t shown at all on tonight’s SummerSlam PPV.

HOUSTON – Santino Marella may not have been allowed to compete for the coveted crown of “Miss WrestleMania” at the silver anniversary of WWE’s greatest spectacle … but it didn’t stop his “twin sister” Santina from besting 24 other Divas in Sunday’s Diva Battle Royal.
While more than 70,000 raucous fans inside Reliant Stadium, and the rest of the world watching the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania at home, rocked out to Kid Rock’s live performance of his hit single “So Hott,” that was hardly the term to describe “Santina’s” surprise entrance, joining the Divas in their battle royal.
The WWE Universe was more than excited to see WWE Diva Alumni returning to the ring for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Former Divas Joy Giovanni, Miss Jackie, Molly Holly, the recently-retired Victoria and Torrie Wilson all made their way to the ring in hopes of once more achieving WWE glory on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Maria was eliminated by Victoria.
Last night Maria led her team of Divas to the ring, and came out victorious! In case you missed it, we have it available for download now. Sorry no 720p HD on this one, but we’ve got a good quality video for your viewing pleasure.
