It was Maria vs Melina. Maria had Santino at ringside and Melina had Jillian at ringside. Maria who is currently wondering if she should or shouldn’t go along with the playboy offers. The match was very back and forth but the important part was not even the match. Santino kept on telling everyone that Maria will not be posing for it. Later on Jillian ended up going up to Santino and planting a kiss on him! Maria seeing this didn’t seem so very thrilled about it. So with the distraction Melina was able to pin Maria and get the win. After the match, Maria looks on pissed off. Santino comes in the ring and apologizes for what happened, but that’s what happens when you associate yourself with Playboy. Santino says he doesn’t want Maria to get the Playboy curse and brings up the injuries of Ashley, Candice and Torrie Wilson. Santino tells her she has one week to make up her mind, it’s either Playboy magazine or being with him. Santino says he is the one who really loves Maria and he plants another big kiss on Maria in the middle of the ring. Santino says to think about that and leaves the ring as Maria looks on confused.

Fashioning a Diva

Written: August 26, 2008“Passion is my motivation and that’s what drives me.” Maria’s passion has led her to becoming one of the most recognized Divas in WWE, being on the cover of Playboy, and countless other successes.
Performing has been a huge part of Maria’s life since the tender age of 3. That is when she took up dance lessons. The SmackDown Diva played every sport offered during grade school, continued with volleyball and tennis in high school and joined the school’s choir and dance team.
Last week when Smackdown was in Illinios Maria stopped by the local My Fox Chicago studio. She talked about her life, being in the ring, and all of the fun activities she’s been doing outside of the ring. Its a fun interview! Click here to check it out, or just click the picture.

What you’ve all been asking for! And that is Wrestlemania 24! the Bunnymania match. Maria and Ashley both Playboy Covergirls teamed up with Melina and Beth. Even though on paper the odds were seemingly stacked against the Playboy-duo, Ashley and Maria were not about to lie down, not on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Trading blows with The Glamazon, and using acrobatic maneuvers to stifle Melina, were enough to keep the beautiful tag team in the match — with a little help and distraction from Jerry “The King” Lawler who punched Santino Marella at ringside. In the end, Maria and Ashley looked as if they would be able to beat the odds. While Ashley propelled herself into Melina outside the ring, Maria had the champion pinned. However, it was not to be. Thanks to Santino’s interference and a fisherman’s suplex, The Glamazon was able to sneak out the win. But the real show came after the bell. After Snoop Dogg delivered a much-deserved shot to Santino, Maria returned the favor by giving him a passionate, much-deserved kiss. Will the WWE Diva ever be the same again?
