Maria’s Celebrity Apprentice Blog #5

Each week Maria will blog about what it was like being on Celebrity Apprentice. Here is her 5th blog about last night’s episode:

Really guys really, I have to say that the men’s team is a bit disappointing. I thought that they would have a bit more organization and fire in them but it seems the only fire they have is toward each other. Watching them reminds me of… hmmm… a certain show, “Looney Tunes.” Sinbad reminds me of Daffy Duck, because he’s always looking for the last laugh. Darryl Strawberry would be Bugs Bunny because he’s tall, confident, a bit lazy and very popular. Rod was Elmer Fudd; shooting himself in the foot because he didn’t know how to use his own gun. Curtis is Foghorn Leghorn; just compare the hair and the COCKiness. Michael Johnson is the Road Runner: he gets to the point fast. Bret is Pepe’ Le Pew because he stinks at getting the ladies but he eventually wears them down. Bret “Le Pew” sounds something like, “This is my little love bundle. Now, she is seeking for us a trusting place. Touching, is it not? Come, my little peanut of brittle. I will help you. Wait for me. Wait.” And Goldberg is, well, Yosemite Sam, although in the cartoon Sam never had as many muscles as Goldberg, but the two are just as cranky, loud, like to dress up, (“Mutiny on the Bunny,” Yosemite Sam played a pirate) and have very well-groomed facial hair. The men are driving me “Looney” and we aren’t even done yet! Speaking of “Tunes” does anyone really miss Cyndi and her tunes in this episode? I do. Speaking of tunes, my EP: “Sevin Sins” comes out on April 13th on iTunes… ha, ha cheap plug…. but seriously, I am excited about it.

I cannot believe I made that basket. Let me just say that I am so happy that I did for Holly’s charity. Her charity is http://www.hollyrod.org and it will raise funds to help children with autism and grant their families access to afford crucial treatments and therapies. It is an amazing charity. When everyone was missing the hoop all I could think was, “Wow what a great story this would be! Also, if I don’t make this my boyfriend is going give me a hard time about it.” After I made it I thought about the 10,000 dollars and how Team Tenacity beat the boys AGAIN!

I really couldn’t believe the things that I heard during this episode: I am tacky. I am conniving. I am not a team player. I am strong. I throw people under the bus. What I didn’t hear: I am lazy. I don’t work hard. I don’t want to win. I am not smart. I am not creative. What I didn’t hear was me, “The Diva,” being disrespectful. If this is a b!@#$ thing to say I’m sorry but I did nothing wrong in the task. The girls just didn’t like that I played the game better. I do not like to be grabbed, like Holly did to me in the editing bay. I don’t like to be told how someone respects me and then turns right around in the limo on their way home and talks shit about me, (Selita). I don’t know what “divas” Selita has worked with but if talking behind each others’ backs is what she and her “divas” do, I am glad I am not a part of that. That is called backstabbing and being a coward and NOT being respectful. Selita, you were the weakest player. You didn’t lift, carry, or create anything. I told it like it was. I spoke the truth. You weren’t as strong as Holly, Summer, Cyndi, or I. I do not bullshit. You ask me a question. I answer it. End of story.

That being said our commercial was funnier, better constructed, and educated the customer better. Team Tenacity was robbed. I think that Trump and the executives felt bad for the men. It made no sense to me. The looks on the faces of the executives said it all. They laughed during our commercial and they acted uninterested during Team RockSolid’s presentation. The boys just weren’t as good. I hate when unjust decisions are made. Team Tenacity worked harder and had a better product but still lost. Something seems off to me.

The Boardroom, wow! This was a pressure cooker. I hate to throw people under the bus but if you look in the eyes of a Make-A-Wish kid you would understand why I don’t want to lose. And I don’t mind saying how a million dollar supermodel was sitting on her ass while everyone else was working. My cousin has autism and I wanted Holly to win. Winning Holly money means more families will have the opportunity to learn how to cope with a devastating disease. Selita could have helped in the editing bay. Selita could have helped carry in the props. Selita could have been on the ground with me pulling the box from under the kids. She wasn’t, so I said it. I don’t like to be that person that looks back and says that I wish I would have done or said something. So, I was honest and precise. I have fought with some of the toughest women in the world but you learn to respect them and if they disrespect you, you move on. I am moving on and I forgive you, Selita. It is a game show. You did not leave classy but, I respect you, I said it, and mean it. Good luck in your future endeavors but you are no Angel in my eyes.

Congrats Curtis!! His charity is Feeding America. “Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Our mission is to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.”
