Last night the teams got switched up. Curtis joined Tenacity and Maria & Sharon joined Bret Michaels on Rocksolid. This week the challenge was to see who could raise the most money running a fitness class. Maria seemed to have a lot of fun with her new teammates. Rocksolid came up with the idea to have a “Rockstar” themed workout and it payed off. Although they lost overall, they did get a $24,000 bonus from 24 Hour Fitness for having the best workout routine. Donald Trump was so impressed with the amount of money both teams raised that he decided not to fire anyone. Watch the episode again and check out a few web exclusive bonus scenes. Each week Maria will blog about what it was like being on Celebrity Apprentice. Here is her 7th blog about last night’s episode:
Tonight I write this with a heavy heart. Bret Michaels is in the hospital. Bret had a brain hemorrhage Friday and remains in critical condition. He showed me a completely different side of his personality while I worked with him on The Celebrity Apprentice and I find him to be a strong, inspiring man. Bret loves his daughters and his fans. I am so glad though that this episode had a feel-good ending. Working with Bret and Sharon was amazing. They were fun and are Rock Stars! Bret, when he is having fun, is much more productive. He needs the laughter to motivate him. Sharon knows exactly how to work with each of us. Sharon understands my eagerness and enthusiasm. She doesn’t try to hold me back, she just guides me. I can see why she is such a great manager. Rockers are wild souls and Sharon knows just how to lasso them. I love my new team. I needed the laughter, the humor, and the creativity of this group. The other thing I needed was my sister, Janny. We will get to that in a minute.
When we arrived to Trump Tower it was cold, so cold! I couldn’t wait to get back inside. Although, it was an amazing view of New York City. Trump would argue the best view because he only has the best. Speaking of the best, I was happy to see Trump with his family. Melania was beautiful and Mr. Trump’s son Barron looked just like him. Barron had better hair of course. When you are on a show like The Celebrity Apprentice you get to the point that you are so tired at the end of the day that you don’t want to talk on the phone. You are so busy during the day you can’t talk on the phone. Weeks go by and you can’t see your friends or loved ones. I was missing my family and seeing Mr. Trump with his, made me miss mine even more. That is another reason I loved this task!

“CELEBRITY APPRENTICE” contestant Maria Kanellis, a former “WWE” star wrestler and a songwriter/recording artist whose debut album “Sevin Sins” was just released on iTunes, was in town to do a hot photo shoot for the Chicago-based magazines Complete Woman and Sophisticate’s Hairstyle Guide and to visit with family in her hometown of Ottawa, Ill.
When asked to comment on a few of her fellow contestants, she said:
“Curtis Stone [top TV chef] is cute but he’s pompous. He has an Australian accent so he seems sexy, but he’s a little arrogant for me. But other women love him.”
“Cyndi Lauper just couldn’t keep it together. She’s just so creative it takes her so long to gather her thoughts — I’d never work with her again.”
“I love Holly Robinson [actress]. My cousin had autism so I was very interested in what she had to say. She’s a bit bossy, but that’s OK.”
Her interview will run in the July issue of Complete Woman.
