Welcome to the #1 source for Maria Kanellis news, photos, videos & more. Maria is a former WWE Diva, ROH manager, actress, swordfighter, stuntwoman, singer, AfterBuzzTV host, writer, and entrepreneur.
Last night’s episode kicked off with Maria presenting Make-A-Wish foundation with the $20,000 check that she won on last week’s show. The task this week was to create a four page advertorial for Lifelock and Norton 360. Maria’s team, Tenacity, won due to better use of graphics, more attention-catching, and more emotional connectivity in the ad content. Watch the episode again and check out a few web exclusive bonus scenes. Episode stills and captures have been added to the gallery.
Each week Maria will blog about what it was like being on Celebrity Apprentice. Here is her 3rd blog about last night’s episode:
It started off so good! The Make-A -Wish kid, Jon Paul is such a sweetheart and he is so business minded. He was telling me stories about his lemonade stand and other business ventures. You would never be able to tell that Jon Paul had been sick. He’s a very resilient kid. I love his mom and I am so thankful I got to meet her. Make-A-Wish is such a wonderful charity. Jon Paul’s story is so inspiring and I am excited to see him again in New York at the finale. 20,000 dollars to Make-A-Wish!! Yes but….
This week’s episode was the hardest for me to watch so far. Everyone seemed tense and it wasn’t as fun as the other two shows. Summer unfortunately was not the best leader and neither was Michael. Leading is a hard thing. Summer was too afraid of hurting feelings and making decisions, where Michael was not afraid at all. Being a great leader is a combination of respecting others’ opinions and also knowing what you want. Summer is a sweetheart and I felt bad for her in this episode because she did not know exactly what she wanted. What you didn’t see on the show was the argument that Team Tenacity got in at the table. I said a spokesperson is one person and not 3. And I said, “Let’s look up the definition of spokesperson.” I was very bitchy and I was so tired during this episode but I felt like it took far too long to get going. It was just such a complicated task. I wanted to use Cyndi because she IS so unique. I agree that she is hard to handle but I wanted to do the advertorial with all different people saying that they were Cyndi. An 80-year old man dressed as Cyndi saying, “I’m Cyndi Lauper.” A baby dressed up as Cyndi saying, “I’m Cyndi Lauper!” A tattooed punk rocker saying, “I’m Cyndi Lauper!” In essence the Ad would be saying that anyone can try to steal your identity but with Norton 360 and LifeLock you are protected. There is only one Cyndi Lauper and the idea was to have her on the last page saying, “I’m the only Cyndi Lauper.” I got shut down and that just added to my irritation. Nobody seemed to be listening to anyone else and since I had watched every episode of The Celebrity Apprentice last season, I knew what the critiques would be on our project for this episode. I didn’t want to lose but I really thought we were heading down the wrong path.
