According to the spoilers at PWInsider… Maria did return to Smackdown this week!!!!
Mickie James beat Beth Phoenix and Natayla to become the Number One Contender for the Women’s Championship. It wasn’t specified when she’d get the shot but after the match, since Michelle McCool and Layla were ringside at the announcer’s table, Mickie James attacked them and got double teamed until Maria came out and helped Mickie fend them off.
Sorry for any confusion, the previous spoilers did not mention Maria.

Houseshow Results No Comments
We don’t usually report house show results, but last night Maria made her return at a Smackdown house show! She came to the ring with Cryme Tyme during their match against the Hart Dynasty. Smackdown is taping tonight due to traveling next week, so come back later to find out if Maria will be making her TV return as well!

Rumors, Smackdown Preview, Twitter No Comments
Maria tweeted earlier today that she’s “back on the road” and EWrestlingNews reports that:
Filming on the Celebrity Apprentice wrapped up which means Maria will be able to return to WWE television effective immediately.
Smackdown will be taped tomorrow night because the Superstars/Divas are heading to the Middle East next week for the annual Tribute to the Troops show. With Maria “back on the road” could we see her on Smackdown next Friday? Be sure to come back here tomorrow for full Smackdown spoilers, hopefully announcing the return of Maria!
