WWE.com has added 2 digital photos of Maria from Night of Champions. Maria came down to the ring during Dolph Ziggler’s Intercontinental Title match to cheer him on. She looked gorgeous, check out the pics on WWE.com. Be sure to come back later tomorrow for a video.

I thought she was gonna do more than just sit there, i was hoping she’d cost Rey the title but i hope this storyline leads somewhere
by the looks of things my 1 of 2 of my hunches may happen. 1) Ziggler will start to blame Maria whenever something doesn’t go his way, 2) it could be how the feud between Maria and Michelle McCool resumes. Ya know Ziggler will cost Maria a match with McCool and it’ll turn out that McCool and Ziggler are an item.
Those are just my hunches cuz Maria is just sitting at ringside and not interfering for Ziggler like what was going on with Santino Marella. Maria just accompanied him to his matches and sat and watched and never interfered.
I thought she might do something to help Ziggler win the title, but she just sat there. I still think she might help him in a future match.
I’m doubting a heel turn any soon enough. If she does become a heel it’ll prolly be when she becomes the champion and will get a big head as a result.
I read the spoiler for this week and Maria was not in Smackdown :[
To be fair, it was just her second match as his valet. I could still see a possible heel turn as she tries to prove her worth to him by helping him win the IC belt. Not a Ziggler fan, so in a way, I’m more interested in how this goes down for Maria rather than Ziggler.
Personally, I’d like to see a change of character for Maria. But with one or possible two diva alignment changes on Raw, I doubt anything will go down on Smackdown. It’ll be the same old thing with the endless 6 Diva and tag matches that WWE base the alignments around.
Although I’m a fan of Maria and respect the fact that she tries her best, I would prefer to see her as more of a onair character than an in ring performer…at least as a face. As a heel, a title run for her might be more interesting, in my opinon. She could have a 1999 Sable-esque gimmick where she gets a big head and even gets another diva to wrestle for her at times. In turn, the fans will enjoy seeing her get what she deserves when she is forced to defend the title. As a heel, she could use heel tactis and work on some rougher moves and such so it isn’t just hair pulling and punck/kick/foot choke. She could still use some of her flashier stuff, but in a way where she’s showing off when doing so. All in all, she’s get heat for having an arrogant and selfish attitude, using others to do her dirty work and most of all for always finding a way to win the matches she does wrestle and then not letting the fans forget that she did in her promos.
But back here in reality, I sense Maria will remain a face, maybe get a title fued with a tv blowff at the most. She won’t get the belt and her fans will be upset. That’s part of the reason I hope they do turn her heel, sooner rather than later. She at least stands a better chance at standing out and being more interesting, title or not.

A friend of mine told me that Maria will prolly remain a face do to the fact that she’s the most popular diva in the WWE. Even more then Mickie James. I kinda agree. I mean look at John Cena they won’t turn him heel do to him bein the most popular superstar in the WWE
And like I said I think the only way she’ll become a heel is when she becomes champion and after a few weeks will start to develop a big head like Sable in 1999.
