Friends + Halloween….Major Trouble
Friday, October 24, 2008, 09:02 PM EST [Faith, Heart & Soul]Hey guys! I’m sure you may of been a little confused by the title of this blog, but it’s not what you might assume. Simply put, there are two things I’d like to address this blog….one, “our” loss tonight against Maryse and Natalya and, yep you guessed it, the Haloween contest at Cyber Sunday!
Tonight was a disappointing loss for me. I love Maria to death, BUT what happened? We were clearly in control, I go to give her the tag & her back is to me. I’m not sure what she was doing b/c I was in the middle of the match focused on getting the win. Low and behold, Maryse got a quick rollup. Didn’t know Maryse could think that fast…just joking! :) I tried to talk to her after the match, but she seemed more concerned about finding Festus than the fact that we had just lost a stinking match. A little lost at this point. I would never betray someone I call my friend, I just hope she gets it together before next week.
Daily Diva – 10/25/08
Maria is the Daily Diva for the 2nd time this month! Its a photo from her “Plaid About You” photoshoot. We’ve seen this picture before, but today we get the un-cropped version. Check it out in the gallery.

SD Results – 10/24/08
Natalya & Maryse def. Divas Champion Michelle McCool & Maria
Just when it looked like Divas Champion Michelle McCool was going to pin Maryse, mariachi music filled the air and Maryse popped her shoulder up after a two-count. Next, Jesse, Festus and an entire mariachi band appeared at ringside, setting the scene for the love-struck Festus to present Maria with a flower. The affectionate distraction allowed Maryse to pin McCool. But, the action wasn’t over. When the bell rang, the budding Romeo transformed into the Corn-fed Colossus we all know and love and gave chase to the entire band.

Catwalk dreams
Maria was a special guest at L.A. Fashion Week last week. The SmackDown Diva walked the red carpet and sat in the front row at several designers’ shows.
“It was great to be there. There were lots of celebrities. Lauren Conrad had her line there. Christian Audigier has his line there. He was there at the show and I saw him after the show,” Maria said.
“It was incredible. The lines were great. The Christian Audigier show was wonderful. It was funny because I thought that plaid was coming back in, and when I saw his show, it was all plaid! It had a very British/United States mix,” she explained.
The Diva, a fashion designer who often showcases her wares each week in the SmackDown ring, hopes to soon be part of L.A. Fashion Week.

IGN Wrestler of the Day
Maria is the “Wrestler of the Day” over @ IGN’s Smackdown VS RAW 2009 countdown. This is the first video game Maria will be in as a playable character.
