Summer Skin is here
In this week’s Diva Dish, celebrate Independence Day and the launch of the sizzling-hot Summer Skin. Michelle McCool, Natalya, Kelly Kelly, Maria, Cherry, Victoria and Lena Yada chat about WWE.com’s exclusive, summer-long series. Then, Maria, Victoria and Maryse share their Fourth of July plans with our readers.
Maria told Diva Dish she enjoyed being outside in the sunshine all day during her Summer Skin photo shoot, which was at a lush botanical garden.
The Draft is – as our currently recuperating Chairman might say – WWE’s way of “shaking things up”. And 2008 was no exception; between the initial and supplemental Drafts, 28 Superstars, Divas and announcers now find themselves in new home brands. Many members of the WWE Universe might find themselves with conflicted emotions: excited about seeing someone new on their favorite brand, but still sad to see an old favorite move on. It’s not surprising then, that the drafted Superstars’ feelings are similarly conflicted, especially when you take into account the massive lifestyle change that comes with moving from one brand to another.
The WWE’s Divas were also affected by the Draft, as Layla was randomly selected to move to Raw, and Maria to SmackDown. This makes Layla the first Diva Search winner to star on Raw, SmackDown and ECW, and the former ECW Diva is extremely optimistic, “I know for a fact that there are bigger and better things coming,” she effused, “and I’m going to work really hard to do a great job here and shine as much as I can.”
Smackdown Spoilers were posted and there was absolutely no report about Maria being on this weeks episode. However I hope that is just a mistake. Let’s hope we see Maria on Friday Night. We know WWE didn’t use other draftee Layla on Monday Night.
Also I remember in the Co-Ed Magazine Interview Maria said that she thinks she has broken ribs.
COED: Does it hurt when you’re being slammed?
MARIA: Oh yeah, definitely. It definitely hurts. I’ve gotten a couple of injuries. I busted open a lip not too long ago. I busted open my nose. I broke my thumb. Right now I think I have two broken ribs.
Her last match was aganist Beth Phenoix on Monday Night Raw May 19th. We’ve seen her on RAW but absent in matches. Hopefully nothing is to serious, also could be a reason she is taking it easy and absent from Shows.
I could be wrong, Maria only thinks she has two broken ribs.
As you all know lately we’ve been experiencing problems. “404 Forbidden” pages like every other day. Those problems should stop now. My host is going to be switching servers. So if the site does go down again it’s just because of that and we will be back as soon as possible. If the site even goes down.
Plus cutenews will be going away and switched to a different updating format. So if any errors arise with that just sit tight.
